GGMF held the 2nd edition of the social project zwelar com elas

The 2nd edition of the social project Zwelar com Elas, a project by the Gianni Gaspar Martins Foundation, took place on June 2nd at the multipurpose field attached to the Mediateca Zé Du, in the municipality of Cazenga.

The project, which aims to provide training and qualification for informal women traders, had 50 women in this second edition, as in the first, who work at the Mercado da Mulher and others from the Asa Branca market and surrounding areas, all selected by the administration of the aforementioned municipality.

Taking into account the financial and theoretical-practical components, the trainers were Dr. Mahália Castro and the economist and trainer José Chieta, respectively.

At the end of the training, all were awarded a certificate of participation and a small amount of money to boost their businesses.

The initiative for this project by the Gianni Gaspar Martins Foundation was created with the aim of solving some of the difficulties that our informal traders have faced in their daily lives when carrying out their commercial activities.

“The Foundation’s intention is, first of all, to extend this project to all municipalities in the province of Luanda and only then to other provinces in the country”, the project’s mentor told us.

The GGMF is a non-profit institution whose objective is human development and the formation of the new man, in the areas of education, health, sports and culture.
